The Ceca concert will take place on May 11 at the Krusevac sports hall. Svetlana Ražnatović, also known as Ceca, is one of the most famous and highest paid singers in Serbia. She began her career in 1988, making her debut at the Ilidz festival. Under the leadership of producer and composer Dobrivoje Doc Ivanković, she became one of the most popular artists in the former Yugoslavia.
Ceca's first two albums, "Cvetak zanovetak" and "Ludo srce", were made in the Serbian folk style. However, starting with her third album "Pustite me da ga vidim", she began to use modern instruments and rhythms, creating a synthesis that was called "turbo folk". The album "Pustite me da ga vidim" sold 350,000 copies, and the singer took third place among the highest paid folk singers in Yugoslavia.
In 1991, Ceca starred in the film "Unclean Blood", where she played the role of a gypsy singer and dancer. The film was released only in 1996 due to financing problems.
