Belgrade Arena

The Belgrade Arena is the largest indoor multifunctional complex in the Balkans, located in the Novi Beograd district of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The arena was designed by architect Vlada Slavica and opened on July 31, 2004, after extensive construction that began in 1991. The cost of construction was approximately 70 million euros.

The capacity of the complex is 18,386 spectators, including 70 VIP boxes for 860 people and 720 superior comfort seats with soft upholstery. Thanks to its transformable configuration, the hall can accommodate from 2,000 to 20,000 guests. The total area of ​​the structure is 48,000 square meters, and the building itself is on six levels.

The arena hosts events of a wide variety of formats, from basketball and handball matches to large-scale concerts of world stars. The Euroleague finals (2018, 2022), the 2005 European Basketball Championship, the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, the Davis Cup finals (2010, 2013), and the 2009 Summer Universiade have been held here. The arena is the home court of the Partizan and Crvena Zvezda basketball clubs.

Each year, the complex is visited by 600,000 to 800,000 spectators. The Belgrade Arena is conveniently located on Arsenije Čarnojevića Boulevard, close to the transport hubs of New Belgrade. You can get here by public transport or by car, for which there is parking for 800 cars.
