Festival "Solar Jazz Festival 2024" will take place at the cultural center KC GRAD, located in Belgrade. This is an event that attracts the attention of jazz lovers. After the successful debut of last year, the festival will present an expanded program, including performances by famous musicians and groups.
The festival will be opened by the Novy Sad ensemble Sonic Kitchen, performing original compositions in a unique style. Next on stage will be the trio of Jure Pukla, one of the brightest saxophonists of the modern jazz scene. Saturday will be dedicated to fusion music. Afterwards the performance of Gorica & The Grooveheadz, who will present their new album. Next will be the trio Astral Avatars, known for their improvisations and eclectic combination of genres.
The festival also includes performances by other famous musicians such as Brazilian composer Adriano Trinidad. His quintet will present original music reflecting the rich tradition of Brazilian jazz. Evening events will end with DJ sets that will create an atmosphere of afro, fusion and funk sounds.
