The play “Circuit Cutter” at Atelier 212 is a modern fairy tale created by Aleksandar Radivojevic and directed by Aleksandar Shvabić. It is a metaphorical critique of the world of technology, where darkness symbolizes a world drowning in electronics. In this world, man gradually disappears, giving way to electricity and capitalist machines. The satirical fairy tale emphasizes how people lose their humanity, becoming machines.

The main idea of the play is the struggle between the false light of technology and the true light of analog darkness. The main character, Switch, sees electricity as an enemy that has deceived people and made them blind to the true light. He strives to return humanity to the primordial darkness, where, in his opinion, people will be able to find true freedom and awareness.

In the play “Circuit Cutter” The talented actors Ivan Jevtovic, Branislav Trifunovic, Marko Gvero, Miodrag Krstovic and Ana Vucic are involved. Their performance allows the audience to better understand the metaphorical images and ideas embedded in the production. Atelier 212, where the performance will take place, is known for its atmosphere and high quality of productions, which makes it an ideal venue for this satirical fairy tale.
