This Hugo Award-winning concert and Nebula, tells the story of Charlie Gordon, the first person to have his intelligence augmented by surgery.
The play takes place in a dystopian world, but it touches on current problems of our society. We follow the struggle of Charlie Gordon, who has been rejected by society but strives to be accepted and loved. Together with Charlie, we learn about the cruelty of the world that surrounds him, and how we often remain blind to the needs of other people.
Concert "Kavez" makes us think about our own relationships with others. Why do we so easily brush aside other people's problems, believing that it is none of our business? We forget that we all need love and a sense of belonging. Charlie wants to be smarter to be accepted, and he teaches us that every person deserves love and understanding.
