Kanli Kula, which means "Bloody Tower" in Turkish, is one of the most significant historical landmarks of Montenegro, located in the old town of Herceg Novi. This majestic fortress was built in the 16th century during the Ottoman Empire and served as a defensive structure. Over time, Kanli Kula was also used as a prison, which gave it its grim name.
