Description
The garden was created in 1855 by the joint efforts of the Serbian naturalist and botanist Joseph Pancic. However, in 1877 it was destroyed as a result of the Danube flood. In this regard, King Milan Obrenovich allocated funds for its restoration, provided that the garden would be named "Jevremovac" in honor of his grandfather, Jevreme Obrenovich, who was a well-known public figure in the field of public education.
